An illustration project developed around the creation of a fictional manga, exploring the visual language of Japanese comics to build an engaging narrative through composition, drawing, and atmosphere.
A Narrative Told Through Illustration
O projeto teve como proposta desenvolver a identidade visual de Reiseangst The project focused on developing the visual identity of Reiseangst through the creation of the manga cover and its first page. The illustrations were digitally produced from hand-drawn sketches, exploring manga aesthetics and different compositional techniques to convey the atmosphere of the story.
The construction of the scenes, framing, and treatment of the visual elements were carefully designed to create rhythm and guide the reader’s eye throughout the narrative. The project also provided an opportunity to experiment with different approaches to drawing and storytelling, exploring illustration as a tool for narrative development.
